no it isnt. Zegras is a 2nd line forward who cant drive offence and struggles defensively . Id prefer Lehkonen over him

Honestly Hughes shoulda taken the 1st offered imo but nah he overplayed his hand and is doing the same w Monahan and Matheson, he thinks those 2 who are nearing 30 will be useful to habs in a playoff run, while habs are like 2 to 3 years away from a WC spot

And Zegras doesnt make money? Zegras is funny enough only averaging 3 more points than Anderson this year (If they both played 40 games)

Wild don't need a goalie, no thanks on giving up a pick for Allen.

It ceases to amaze me how under appreciated Jake Evans is by his own team’s fan base.

No thanks from Detroit. No need. No fit. No desire for that contract.

Played 19 minutes against the Rags, had an assist, won 10 faceoffs, was a plus 1 and was instrumental in killing 3 penalties against the best PP in the league and this guy would trade him away for a 6th round draft pick and replace him with a career AHLer.

If they want to trade him for nothing, I think he could be greatly useful in Detroit lol

I highly doubt anyone will pay for his services. At this point the Habs just need to part ways with Dvorak, chalk it up as a bad trade by the old regime and move on.

He is the type of player Yzerman likes.

I don't think its the price it's more about room. Veleno has been playing well this season and currently Copp is our 4th line center. He plays very well defensively, is very good on the PK and he has played all over the line up without any complaints. His cap hit is a bit high but with the big increase in cap for next season it won't seem all that bad. I know Yzerman want the bulk of the prospects to develop as a team in GR, but there is no way both Danielson and Kasper spend another full season in the AHL. I think Fischer, Perron and Kane won't be back which is fine. Berggren deserves a spot and resign Sprong and Kotsin.

I don't care for Kostin much anymore. Haven't seen enough of him though. Perron can go unless he wants to come back for a deal like Sprong signed this year. I would ideally have that figured out before the deadline. Sprong I wouldn't hate seeing back but I think we could get a good return for him and I think he gets a raise which might not be ideal. Kane I wouldn't mind seeing come back for the right price. He can still be a difference maker. I totally agree with giving Berggren time with the team, he needs it. I would like to bring in Trenin or Foegele or a bit better centerman for that fourth line. Copp to help out Kasper or Danielson of they make the team. On the third line. Veleno to the wing.

I wouldn't mind if Kane came back but it does create other issues. The reason I think he choose Detroit is so he can have a chance to go to the team he feels has best chance to win a cup. If he just wanted to finish out his career he would've gone to Buffalo. He does spend his summers there. At the end of the offseason I thought Buffalo could of been top 3 in the division and if they had played that way Kane would've gone there in the first place. If we can get a good return for Sprong I wouldn't mind. Kotsin plays a physical game and is willing to square off with anyone.
