true but it would solve some issues. Factor in a tarasenko trade return potentially & there are still pieces to work with

definitely. Pettersson would only be available if this season and next go down the drain, and top-pair LHD who are elite defensively by every objective metric are not growing on trees...

Calgary passes. I get that weegar is older, but Chabot seems to be plagued with injuries and his numbers are in decline....not to mention the cap hit. I see a real risk of him being hampered by nagging injuries as his play declines, but never enough to be on LTIR. Basically Monahan all over again for us.
