Description
TRADES ARE NOT FINAL - they are drafts

I want to get :

1- Ryjo for cheap;
2- Podz while his value is lower (high drive player)
3- Bourque;

I'm not sure of the trade values and throwing these trades out - let me know how you would adjust it.

With the Rumour that Reinbacher might ditch Kloten to go to the AHL, maybe trading Barron for some offensive help might be a play.
Trades
1.
MTL
  1. Johansen, Ryan
Additional Details:
What's the price to get Ryjo?

While some consider him a cap dump, I think he does have some value.

Avs don't need to pay to get rid of him, but can't get much for him on the market.
COL
  1. 2024 3rd round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
Would the avs want some depth back? Or, is the cap space and 3rd enough?

Habs have the cap space to eat the whole cap
2.
3.
MTL
  1. Bourque, Mavrik
  2. Faksa, Radek
  3. 2024 2nd round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
Heard Dallas needed a RHD to play with Miro.

Savard, Kovacevic or Barron
DAL
  1. Barron, Justin
  2. 2025 2nd round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
Changing a 2024 2nd for a 2025 pick
4.
MTL
  1. 2025 5th round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
ANY TEAM - chose DAL not to clickbait another fan base to this AGM
DAL
  1. Allen, Jake
Additional Details:
not expecting much... it's a disservice to Allen trade value to play him every now and then.

It’s not terrible value but I’d rather keep Podz personally

COL loves your proposal. You should think of keeping Monahan though. Roughly same player as Ryjo for cheaper.

Monahan is a UFA - we can alway resign him this summer. Ryjo is a UFA next year and could also be flipped 50% retained.

Yah, I'd probably do that if i'm Vancouver. I think we have 5 or 6 better prospects than Podz now.

I understand wanting to shore up C, but that's too much for Ryjo from Montreal. We can pick up someone cheaper to finish the season and we don't want to bring in another Dvorak for next year.
Dvorak for Ryjo I would do. Frees up cap for Colorado to grab Lindholm for now (Dvorak is LTIR for the rest of the season) and they can take their time figuring the rest out in the off-season.
It's all the same to us (selling Ryjo next year with retention for a pick instead of Dvorak), but gives us a center to cover for our injuries in the meantime.

Podkolzin is not someone I'd be interested in at that price. I think we can do better by trading Monahan and combining those assets toward a different target.

Barron should be kept until someone is good enough to replace him. He's ahead in development and that is wasted if we don't follow through.
Matheson or Savard can go to Dallas and I'd prefer it be Matheson. The log jam is more significant on the left and we have Barron and Hutson who will benefit from the ice time vacated by Matheson.

Allen to anywhere is fine. The return no longer matters. Getting Primeau starts and keeping Montembeault sharp are more important.

Avs accept and you're correct in that to some teams he isn't/wouldn't be a pure cap dump.
