Its kinda like a quantity vs quality debate. Add up the Dickinson, Mrazek, the retention, taking in RyJo's cap dump equals a 1st. As a Hawks fan I'd do it. I just don't think AVE's fans will add those up for a 1st.

Understanding the first isn't solely to dump RyJo, I would be tempted to say yes.

Dickinson is on pace for like 30 goals and Mrazek is significantly better than Georgiev. Ryjo's money is just icing on the cake

You put it perfectly. So many people on here miss stuff like that. Value is cumulative, it is not singular, but they always forget to turn their tunnel vision off. Why take a million different lower picks instead of just adding up all the value and making it one higher pick? Plus, CHI wants quality over quantity.

I don't think the Avs would do it but I'd be tempted if I couldn't find a better way to move RyJo.
