None of these teams would do this trade

Pretty easy no from Florida. Lundell is good and is younger and cheaper with more upside.
Pretty easy no from Anahem, they wanted Cutter for his style of play, Caufield doesn't bring that.
Easy no from Edmonton. This trade doesn't make them better, actually arguably worse. They will buy out Jack Campbell in the summer. If you want to argue that Allen is an upgrade over Pickard, I would agree. Losing Foegele is where this team is losing the trade. His defensive play along with his leadership and locker room presence is the main loss. Injured Dvorak does nothing for them.
The Toronto trade doesn't help them much either. They lose on the blue line, where they could use a bit of help, but gain in a depth forward, which isn't entirely needed.
Yeah, maybe Pittsburgh does that.

The only one of those trades I would consider is the FLA one.

Didn't say it was even but it's obviously the only one MTL would look at.

Don't take this too seriously as I don't think it will happen, but he hasn't signed yet. He's forced a trade once, he can do it again.

Knowing how bad Verbeek was with Zegras and Drysdale I wouldn't be surprised. The trade is also pretty fair to me even if both players do not bring the same game at nhl level.

It's an ELC, there's no negotiation, the contract details are defined in the CBA.

I wouldn't do this trade. We need to add, not make lateral moves.
Caufield is one of the most dangerous shooters in the league and it's silly to trade him. We just need to work on enabling him to get those shots. Teams are rightfully smothering him and we need more offensive threats and player movement to free him up to shoot from different locations.
