      Thanks !!

The only way that Montreal can trade Allen for a reasonable value is rentain 50% of his salary.

The Hawks decline, you are asking them to absorb $7.8m in cap space for next season and the offering a 2nd round pick and a bunch of mid round selections. Chicago already has a ton of picks over the next few seasons, so quantity will not be enticing, you need to up the quality of draft picks.

I'm open to makes somes modifications about that trade, especially for adding the 2024 1st round pick (NYR) and put out the 2024 2nd round pick (COL). What about that ?

hell no. we will just keep armia and Dvorak if we need to give away a top62 pick. Certainly not a 1st rounder. Send Armia to Laval and move Dvorak on the 4th line.

I think that would make it more realistic for Chicago but to be honest with Montreal where they are in their own rebuild/retool I don’t think it makes sense for them to be trading away high draft picks.

I actually think that hawks trade is close to fair. We’re going to need to overpay a few vets in free agency this summer, so why not get compensated for it? They’re only signed one more year.

Genuinely curious — why do habs want to pay to offload these guys when you’re a bottom 10 team this year?
