lol then he goes elsewhere. He's the cheapest AAV and best option in his category without any trade protection. Teams will pay a premium for the depth that your team lacks at the moment and which won Vegas a Cup. Name me a better option? It aint Lindholm because his AAV is much higher and return will be much higher, think 1st plus roster player and prospect. Monahan will be in high demand, there are a half dozen teams that cant afford an expensive AAV like Lindholm but can with Monahan. Trading a late 1st with a 20-30% chance to even be an NHL'r isnt a high price nor uncommon at the TDL where prices soar and Mtl will just sit on Monahan IF they dont get it and resign him!

He easily gets a 1st plus
