I think if they're getting Lindholm back with an extension it's KK and a 1st minimum. Can't see Calgary moving a player as good as him and not getting a late 1st even if it was just a rental. But I love it for Carolina wither way.

Knowing how the canes management rolls, i just don't see them bailing on KK already who they seem pretty committed to and paying a 2C that much deep into his 30's. They've never been quick to give anyone pushing 30 that large of a contract, and I don't see that changing for Lindholm.

For a rental, Canes aren’t going to give that up for Lindholm. He is asking for the same kind of mistake contracts that were given to Horvat and PLD, and the Canes have no problem not signing players to those anchor contracts (Hamilton, Faulk, Trocheck).
