In the worst case scenario, KK is still a high end 3C low end 2C. Laughton is nothing more than a 4C, maybe a low end 3C. Canes pass.

Paying a "high end" 3c nearly 5m seems like a horrible use of cap space. He's also on pace for like 35 points... sounds more like an average 3rd line center than "high end". his defense isnt nearly good enough to be a high end 3c either. If you got offered an out on that horrible contact i would take it

They literally have almost identical stat lines over the last 2 years... (seriously, both players had 18G 25A last season and are at 18/19 points respectively this year)
