I honestly don't know if Verbeek moves Vatrano for a first. He seems like a guy who will get extended, since he plays his best hockey in Anaheim, I could see him getting a 2 year 8-9 million dollar extension.

I could be wrong but I feel Vatrano while a good player isn't going to be worth the cost to acquire. I think it's him being in the right situation in Anaheim and the team trading for him is going to regret it. Also I don't think allvin wants to part ways with Kuzmenko for that return. I think the game plan is hopefully get Chmelevski and hope him Mikheyev and Kuzmenko form a nice line.

Wow, like over paying much? Why not throw in Lekkermaki and Willander too, for a couple of mediocre players.

I don't think you should give up on Kuz, but Sharks say yes

Ducks decline - Anaheim is not trading Frank Vatrano.
I would change the second trade - Remove Kuzmenko and trade a prospect for Anthony Duclair.

I honestly don't think Canucks should have to add that 3rd to make that deal go through
