Description
- Implement a coach that holds players accountable and stops players from wearing purses. Craig Berube is available

- Let Marner walk and don't think for a second not extending this entitled player is a bad idea. Losing him for nothing sucks but thank calculator boy Dubas for that pathetic contract

- Get rid of Tavares' captaincy (top 5 worst captain in Leafs history). Not an $11M player, I wouldn't even give this guy $5M if he asked for it. League min or walk

- Bring in players who aren't afraid to scrum it up and can lay the body. Leafs need more Benoits and McCabe's and less Jarnkroks, Robertsons, and Brodies

Tavares is like 7th in expected goals overall and 9th in expected goals 5v5.

His shooting % is low but that could just be bad luck...

How exactly is he bad?

how many heart and grit a game do you need to win a hockey game? i forget how it works, if you have enough hits, you get a point and if the refs see you have a lot of heart, they award you a playoffs win? sorry im confused sometimes.

Sounds like the problem isn't Tavares but the rest of the team.

I recall Crosby being tossed around so the Pens traded skilled players for "tough guys". That is not a good path, but hey, good luck.
