The classic Kenny Holland deadline trades (as a buyer) are adding and not subtracting.

Give me your player and I'll give you a draft pick, AHL player or a B level prospect.

Campbell dump: 1st and Broberg

Monahan: Bourgault and 2nd

Monty is worth more than a 2nd and James Hamblin. Take out the retention and add the 2025 or 2026 1st unprotected

That Vancouver trade would be terrible for Edmonton Kane has been better than kuzmenko also has way more playoff experience and is the player you want on ur team for the playoffs so easy no for Edmonton on that one

When you make trades as big as this, you’ll find they end up being capped out in the amount of assets you trade away. This is already a monster load of assets, though there’s nothing elite. It’s already looking like an OHL trade and it only involves a tandem goalie and a 3C

Kane will never be healthy again, has horrible analytics and is terrible defensively. If he was healthy I’d agree, but his hits have fallen off and he doesn’t intimidate the other side at all. He was a ghost against the knights. Best move on from him before the rest of the league realizes this

Oilers would rather keep Kane than acquiring Kuzmenko.

No doubt they’d never be smart enough to make this trade, but i think Vancouver accepts

Take out Monty the 2025 2nd and Hamblin, Monty just extended and Habs want him until at least Fowler takes over

In my opinion I disagree.
Edmonton is a better team without Kuzmenko.

They could make it into 2 trades easily. 1 to dump Campbell and another to get Monahan and Monty

Yeah you clearly don’t watch the oilers then lmao cause idk if you saw but I’m pretty sure Kane had a massive hit on matthews last night but you wouldn’t know obviously based off this ridiculous comment you made

Also once again kane has been better than kuzmenko why would the oilers pay to downgrade doesn’t make any sense to me but I guess it does to you lmao

Haha Kane for Kuz is a move you make when you want your coach to quit. Kuz is already enough of a project for Tocchet to play 200 ft.
