The Kings offensive and defensive game have absolutely fallen off the map as of late. The kings have let in 4 or more goals in the last 5 of 8 games and they have scored 3 or more goals in 3 of the last 8 games. The Kings were averaging 4+ goals per game through the first 30 games of the season and their goals against was well below 3 goals per game and both of those things have vanished like smoke.

Even with 8 losses in a row, Talbot still has a 0.915 save percentage.

The problem isn't him, it's the rest of the team. If they figure their crap out, you'll still have a good fantasy goalie on your hands.

I live in the Hermosa Beach area which is where a lot of the Kings players live, and word on the street is there is a player currently on the Kings that plays a major roll on the Kings currently going through a divorce and spending ALOT of time at the bars getting drunk.

That's too bad that he's coping like that. It certainly can't be easy and I hope the best for him.

And there's no secret to who it is, that information was out during the summer. I won't go posting it here, but I do know who you're talking about.

Not sure why this matters. Drew Doughty is getting a divorce, and that has been going on since before the season started (they filed in September). He's been one of the best players on the Kings so far this season, so it doesn't seem to have affected his play.

If Seattle's still in it by Feb then probably just hang on to Bjorkstrand. If they're out of it I'd probably do it. Might be an overpay compared to market value though.

I'm guessing whoever this player may be is having a more difficult time processing it? Everyone handles these sorts of events differently.

ahh okay. I thought it might be someone else given that they didnt want to reveal the info. Which is strange if they meant doughty since that was all public.
