I think Lindholm will bring back closer to what horvat returned. A first and a higher quality prospect. I'd say petterson.

Zucc is a name that I haven't heard anything about this deadline but he is 36 and a pending UFA. Have to think the wild end up moving him.

Brustewicz is commonly regarded as our number 3 prospect ahead of D-Petey. This trade is pretty similar to the horvat deal but instead of Calgary taking bad cap back (beauvillier) they are getting a 3rd.

Basically it is WIllander and Lekkerimaki at the top and then Raty, D-Petey, Brustewicz kind of in that next tier.

He's not a pending UFA and they have no interest in moving him before Kaprizov leaves. They gave him an extension that ends when Kaprizov's contract ends.

My bad, disregard this trade then. I didn't realize they also extended him with an NMC. Man the wild could have really reset this deadline if they didn't extend Zucc, Foligno, and Hartman with NMC's before the season. Those should be job costing moves for Guerin IMO.

They should be, but Kaprizov will walk for nothing before he actually loses his job

For the record, Hartman getting extended isn't an issue, it's the other two

Arizona doesn’t want Kuzmenko.
Keller is a better player than Kuzmenko.

Fair enough, I obviously don't know your guys prospect pool as well as you. Sounds like what I'd expect back then for Lindholm.

Ya it's okay to extend one of the guys (and Hartman would be my choice too) but all three and with nmc's limited their flexibility so much.

Believe it or not you can have more than one player.

For the record.

Zuccarello's contract is relatively a non issue as well. He's literally there simply as a warm body until one of Öhgren, Yurov, or Khusnutdinov is ready for the NHL in the next couple of years. All while keeping the franchise cornerstone happy.

That's why his extension is only 2 years at $4M per. If he is even half as productive as he has been the last couple of seasons. That contract is absolutely justifiable.

2 out of the 3 extensions are really solid. Only Foligno's is a ****able offense.
