The Kings don't want Vladar for the same reason they don't want Allen. He's not an improvement over either goaltender this season, and they don't need cheap and unreliable goaltending next season because they'll have plenty of cap space to go after a real goalie.

They're either going to acquire a rental goaltender for this season and make their big move this summer, or they're going to go all in on a guy like Saros before the deadline.

Devils are barely a playoff team, Zero chance of either Hanifin or Markstrom heading there.

And Elias Lindholm is looking at 8 x $9,000,000 he's not taking 8 x $8,000,000 from Colorado and it's basically a multi concussed Byram for an extended Lindholm that offer would easily be beat.

I see it more as Holtz + 2nd for extended Hanifin and 1 + Vitek for Markstrom.
I'd do the first but not the second... So put together it might not be so far off.

Mute point though cause I really doubt Calgary trades Markstrom.

4pts seperate the from top WC spot. We just got half way through the season. 11 pts from them and top, thats 5 games, slow the roll. Their top 2 D are out long term, superstar is out, pwr fwd just got back, depth fwds and d on IR. If it remains this way, you are totally right. If they stay in this bad groove you are right but its a bit early for it.
