Description
Palmieri is a decent rental to take a RW spot. Dobson is the main piece here. A young RD with immense talent and great potential. He is exactly what Toronto needs. Wahlstrom could use a new start and perhaps he could be a decent top 6 player in the future? The talent is there. Good contracts for both the players aswell. They won't be complaining.

Barzal gets himself a nice playmate now for once

umm idk tbh, Mitch doesn’t waive & idk if Dobson is what Toronto needs he is a god offensively but defensively it’s still a 50/50 especially at 8 mil & no main guy to take over for Nylanders role after he’s pushed into Mitch’s

Dobson is the single most valuable asset the Islanders possess. Plus as good as Marner is, it isnt worth it to bring in his cap hit. Islanders pass, although a future deal for Marner could work. Not like Toronto wants these guys but anyone is available besides Sorokin, Barzal, Dobson and Horvat. Anyone else is but some have NTCs

Lets get this out straight! A 25 min right handed Norris candidat is far more valuable then Marner. Plus Dobson will still be rfa at the end of this ultra friendly deal. Islanders have absolutely no incentive to make this trade. Absolutely 0.
