Bertuzzi is going to get a lot more than this. His point totals aren't great this year but he's going to be valued by his reputation. It always happens. Someone is absolutely going to pay a 1st for him.

He was traded last year for a 1st and 4th with only 4 goals and 10 assists and coming off a big injury.

He’d definitely get about the same this year but I just can’t see them trading him

I would. This is a punt year. Who knows maybe they sell and fire Keefe and we get a bunch of different players.

100% chance that Toronto is NOT selling. Shanahan has doubled down on his core for almost 10 years, he’s not selling now. They’re going to add to support the core as best as they can.

That is a MASSIVE if. I highly doubt he’d only want Boston, the guy played 2 months there not 5 years lol, plus Bert no matter how much he isn’t appearing on the scoresheet has actually become super reliable defensively & that new coach bump from Berube will be great for him

I wouldn’t be shocked, he circled back to Boston before signing with Toronto.
