Habs don't touch the Carolina deal. They'd be better off drafting Heleniuos, Carton, Demidov or whatever other forward drops in the draft then having Jarvis

The 2024 1st is a nice piece, but ultimately not what the Canes need in a return for Jarvis. The two players don't make the roster and are of no interest.

Jarvis is just breaking out this year and that's great but yes if rather draft a Lindstrom or Demidov. Both those players have higher ceilings than Jarvis and the chance you take with the draft.

Also don't think Carolina laughs at this offer. It's essentially something that would be on the same level offer that MTL would make for Zegras who's the better player.
