If the Flames are willing to retain on both Lindholm and Markstrom, I can see the Canes being in on both.

It would make sense if Tanev was traded to the Leafs.
I’m just saying as a suggestion.

I think Vancouver could beat that offer for Lindholm.

No where., especially Kotkaneimi.

Kuzmenko could be moved further down the road if ever he doesn't work out but the goal is for him to turn back into the player he was a year ago.

If he can't do that on the Canucks, he isn't doing it on the Flames. They would be better of taking offers on him retained.
KOTKANIEMI is in his 3rd full NHL season and is on pace for 36 PTS at nearly 5MM AAV for another 6 seasons. I'm not sure it's worth the gamble for a 3rd line center. His age is the only real upside here.

Kuzmenko is playing on the Canucks third line and getting 2nd unit PP time. With the flames his ice time would increase significantly.

Kotkaneimi still has some potential as a power center who can impact the game on both ends of the ice. I don't think he will ever turn into a 1st line centre but in a few years time he may be a very solid second line centre. He could very well be a long term cog for the Flames going forward.

But Kuzmenkos contract was only signed because he produced on their top 6. He's on the bottom 6 because he lacks consistency and defensive play.

In both cases , I would prefer prospects and draft capital. Calgary needs to film the pipeline and shouldn't be spending their own picks on acquiring players. We have enough bottom 6 forwards in the system. This teams problem has always been a lack of an Elite Center.
