Cant see the Canucks making either trade.Were looking for a Top 6 forward.No reason to make these trades.Just my opinion.

I guess in someways - I would consider Monahan (on pace for 60 pts) to be a top 6 player. He can play wing and center and wins the big faceoffs. In any case, I want to acquire Pod.

I’m not sure what a RyJo cap dump will cost, but CapFriendly would be absolutely crazy in the lead up to the 2025 deadline if he was with the Habs lol

You know it's gonna happen - he's gonna get a big role in MTL, play hard mins, then get flipped at TD 50% retained. Like Clockwork.

Honestly don't love the trade for the Flyers. Anderson is underwhelming and has way too much term. Also the 2nd from Columbus has a condition and they can choose to give Philly their 2025 2nd instead. Which in all likelihood the Jackets will since that will be a high 2nd this year.

I like the idea of Montreal taking on Ryjo especially if Mony is on his way out but with the way he has played and at a 4 mill cap hit I can’t see him costing even a fourth if Sakic needs the cap space.
