Nice additions. But Chisolm really provides no value to Flames, and I would keep the cheap and effective Appleton. Maybe a better NHL prospect would seal the deal.

It would be risky for Winnipeg to get both Lindholm and Tanev.

Take Tanev out. It's pointless to pay for a player that doesn't improve the defense.

No chance the Jets move out 2 roster players.

No reason to tamper with the D the way it’s clicking, unless we can get a top pairing RHD like Pulock… better to just add depth RHD for the playoff run, and then address moving out Schmidt and adding a top 4 RHD in the offseason
