    If you want Chicago to take two years at $7m, then you have to make one of those 2nd round picks you are offering a 1st.

    I will take a first round pick, a second round pick, and a bounce back year for Lee from the islanders this offseason for sure!

    He almost signed there before re-signing with NYI, I wouldn't be surprised if they're not on that list

    You mean, in 2019 when CHI was still a team with playoff aspirations and a lot of talent on the roster? Their lists are not a one time thing. They are changed and resubmitted yearly, due on July 1st, the same day that free agency opens and the previous season officially ends. I'd be willing to bet he doesn't want to go to a rebuilding organization up to their necks in scandals. If he is gonna go somewhere, he is likely going to want to have the best chance at winning.
