Jiricek would be a great get, but not for Samberg. Maybe two firsts and a good forward prospect but not sure why the jackets would do it

He mentioned before the last Jets Columbus game that he wonders what could have been if he was not added to the Laine trade. Anyway, he is a free agent at the end of the year and can go anywhere he wants. He probably knows what he is and isn't in the NHL, and any competitor would go to a playoff team especially when he can go anywhere that wants him in a few months.
