I 100% agree, blues would retain 50% percent, for the life of me I couldn’t figure out how to change that.

Feels like wayyy too much, Wallinder could be a top-4 guy, Lekkerimaki could be better than Buch in 2-3 years and the 2nd is whatever

Can’t see the Canucks moving either Lekkerimaki or Willander, let alone both

This breaks my heart.
Why would Vancouver do a trade with STL?
This trade is too ugly.

Canucks wouldn't move either of Lekkerimaki or Willander on their own for Buchnevich, let alone both in the same deal.

Respect your opinion as a canucks fan, I just think his 200 foot game is incredible underrated and he is a +11 on a blues team that is -14 on the year.

Buchnevich 100% demands at the very minimum at least one of those prospects.

Then the Canucks are out on him, they won't move either of those guys. In the right situation I could see Buchnevich getting a haul that could involve a prospect of that calibre, but it won't come from Vancouver. Allvin has shown to be extremely patient and wait things out to get the best deals he can, and he's more than willing to take the risk of missing out if he thinks there's a good chance waiting can get a cheaper price or better option.

Vancouver isn’t moving both in a deal for Buch, nor should they.

If I were Armstrong I wouldn’t move Buch without a prospect of that caliber being included especially from a team like Vancouver who most likely will have a very late 1st.

My ask would be Willander + 1st + a 2nd next year. If it’s not met so be it keep Buch and try to extend him in the offseason. He fits extremely well with Thomas and is an extremely good player. A collection of normal rental return assets is not sufficient, it can be had next deadline. No reason to settle.

Also, the comment above that Lekkerimaki may be as good as Buch in 2-3 years is a wildishly optimistic view. I understand being excited about prospects, but we are talking about a bonafide 1st line 200 ft player here. The likelihood of any prospect even those drafted in the top 5 are slim.

Never, ever, ever, do the Canucks pay that and essentially gut their future. Other cheaper alternatives exist if not at the TDL, then in the UFA market in the summer. By the way, the Canucks need a center, not a winger.

I'd love Buchnevich but Willander alone is a huge part of this teams future and basically can't be offered for anything other then a young star top 4 RHD and Lekkerimaki is also not someone I could see Allvin trading
