It was a fair trade. Why do we owe them one?

Also it's been reported that Calgary wanted another 1st to include Tanev in the deal and Vancouver was simply not going to not at this point in time

I am and will continue to be a huge fan of that Columbus trade, under the assumption that Tarasov is moved out first (or immediately after).

It really isn't though, there are pick value charts out there (the GSVA one from The Athletic probably being the best which I will post below). Even if Vancouver wins it all this year and falls off to mid-late next year it's still no where close in terms of value.
