1) Giroux isn't going anywhere
2) he's never playing C again. He doesn't want to do it, and at 36, it's unreasonable to ask him to do it on a full time basis. Ottawa spent half a season with Derick Brassard as the 2C because they knew G wasn't a centre anymore.

Sens need Giroux more than these futures... He is exactly what the Sens have lacked the whole rebuild, good veteran player
