You seen our center depth in Montreal after dealing Monahan? We literally can’t afford to deal Evans, not that I would want to for a 3rd anyways.

About Jake Evans... although the value seems "fair-ish", it's soooo weird in Montreal right now, with Dach AND Dvorak out for the season, and now Monahan gone... we only have 2 NHL centers left!

So within the team, Evans' value is sky high at the moment.

If that trade indeed happened, Martin Saint-Louis would knock on Kent Hughes and just say "Are you messing with me??!?!?!"

But he would fit in well in Toronto, and is a true perfect penalty-killer-energy bottom 6 guy.

Evans have a great contract but Montreal will keep him for a 3rd round pick.

St, Louis won't trade Blais for a 5th round pick either.

Toronto will have to be creative enough because your low pool of draft picks and prospects cannot buy you a decent trade considering your cap space.

AZ does that, same trade as last year w EDM got kesselring not sure about kokkonen but dumba walks anyway why not
