Description

Penguins agree on a 6 year extension with Guentzel (6 x $8.7M AVV) -- Guentzel does not make more than Sid and his contract is front loaded + heavy signing bonus so years 4-6, when rebuild starts, PIT has paid most of the deal and flips him 50% retained (new cap hit of $4.35M) to a contending team

Gotta think Avs need a centre not a winger. Holmberg has upped his game and actually has played in the top six at times. Leafs like his play and 800,000 this year and next as opposed to Accaril 2m X 2.5 years.

No reason to go for Holmberg, just bring Poulin up at that rate.

Avs have zero interest in that.

Don't see Kings moving a young player like that.

Doubt NJD take that deal unless they have a LD coming in via trade, and even then not sure.
