I don't see us letting Franky go without a first or an A prospect included. We can get this kind of offer next TDL.

If the caps were moving Strome, this package would be close-ish to doing it imo

Edit: the more I think about it the less I actually like it. This is missing a piece.

That would be horrible for Washington to trade Strome and Dowd, while taking on Goodrows contract for a late fist and Kakko.

Pass. Capitals could easily (imo) get a 1st + for Strome. Dowd gets a 2nd if not more. This trade is adding too much... you can just do 1st + KK for Strome. 2nd for Dowd or a 1st (or Gabe P) + Goodrow for Dowd

Frankie leads the Ducks in most offensive categories and is under contract for another season at a cheap $3.65 million. We'll be able to get a first-round draft pick plus for him. A late second and a guy who has all of 6 points in 77 NHL games in his D+6 year isn't going to cut it.

Frankie has 36 points in 50 games this season; UFA Elias Lindholm has 32 in 49 with a higher cap hit and UFA Sean Monahan has 35 in 49.
