Edmonton laugh at you and counter offer with campbell for konecny. But honestly replace holloway by a 3rd and they might think about it.

Tis but a scratch!

Seriously though, Edmonton isn't biting on that offer.

I don’t think Dallas will even consider moving Johnston.
I know Dallas is somewhat of an all in team but they shouldn’t be moving pieces like Johnston/Bourqe/Stankoven/Bischel who can extend their cup contention post Pavelski/Seguin/Benn era

They also don’t have the cap.

Dallas declines. They already moved up Johnston to their top line with Robertson and Hintz. He's at worst a long term top-6 forward for the Stars, and at best...he's a top line, borderline all-star.

You’d have to take salary back in the Dallas deal. And then take a look at Dallas’ B prospects because Wyatt isn’t happening

As a fan of both the Stars and Flyers I will say that the Stars decline. Stars wouldn't be declining because they wouldn't want TK in some sense, but they won't be giving up Johnston for him.

Stars have an aging core and despite the fact they want to win now they are aware that they have to replace the aging core with young guns in there system. I can't see the Stars moving Johnston, Bourque, Stankoven, or Bischel as they could be next in line once Pavelski, Seguin, and Benn hang up the skates.
