Canucks say no. Petey is younger, plays centre and Rantanen only has 1 more year under contract.

Petey also says no to that contract extension.

Yeah I took a gander at all the other off-season Canucks rosters, 5 million raise is definitely something.

I see some also trying to keep Lindholm.
I definitely haven't watched petterson enough but I doubt he gets 12, I'm imagining in between barkov/Aho money

He's on track for back to back 100 point seasons. 10 per would be team friendly deal, probably 11+

If Pettersson is moved it's because he wants Matthews money or more, 13M+. If he signs for 8 years I could see him getting 12.5M.

You're right: he isn't going to get paid more than Nate. His new deal will come in around what Pasta got which is about what he's worth.

you don't solve the cap gymnastics by moving a top 10 forward in the league. Even if it's for another top 10 forward. Avs will solve it in other ways.
