I like Sturm for that price, but I don't think Sharks are trading him. Beauvillier would be nice. Aube-Kubel would be another nice addition for the bottom 6. Don't know if this is the direction the Rangers are going.

It would be wise for the Rangers to go the cheap route for the bottom 6. No reason to overpay. However I think 3C is more of a priority than 4C. I also think if they're gonna make a splash, they're gonna get someone better than Beauvillier for RW.

Goodrow, Brodz, Vesey is a fine 4th line I feel, with Pitlick as a depth guy.

I think Brodzinski has been fine at 3C. Cuylle Kakko and him have been the best line over the past couple games. I think the bigger focus would be on a top 6 RW, but I’m not really sold on giving up a first round pick for retreads like Vatrano or Tarasenko. I was just thinking of trying to do a repeat of the original Vatrano trade 2 years ago by picking up an underperforming, still decently young/speedy player for cheap.

That’s a little of an underpayment for sturmsy i think especially for two play off runs.

Fine isnt good for 3C in the playoffs. We need secondary/tertiary scoring from that line and its not happening. Id rather move Brodz down to 4C and bump Pitlick out of the lineup. Then go after a 3C that can provide some scoring and help the others to score as well.

The guys I want kind of go completely against what I said in my previous post, however, Sissons is a guy I really like for 3C and hes under a very nice contract for a couple more years. Another guy I really like is Jenner, however it may not be a Lindholm-esque price, but a 1st, a 4th and a prospect is likely the only way to get CBJ to even consider trading their captain.

I think the Sharks could get a 3rd for Sturm, he's a defensively solid guy on a good contract. Incredible faceoff guy as well.

Yea I like the Sissons idea. I more mean that I’d rather just roll with Brodz on the 3rd line as he’s proven it can work rather than give up assets for some rental like Henrique

Henrique I dont want, GMs will poach teams for center rentals, and Henrique is no different. Atleast with Sissons and Jenner, if we give up assets, it isnt for rentals. Also, the problem with Brodz at 3C... if something happens, we have no C depth.
