This is interesting!!!!!! Best deal is when both parties are uncomfortable but happy in their own way... . justify how you think it works. Upgrade that second to a 1st too and drop Raanta if we can.

Sorry guys, but this is ridiculous. As good as Markstrom has been again this season, and it isn't like he's been pure Vezina gold, just quite good, Martin Necas is not going anywhere. That he is involved in a trade discussion for a goalie is absurd. Without Necas, they can have whatever goalie they want, their forward depth, especially at center, will be too weak to win anything anyway. Adding a goalie in return, plus a 2nd round pick, when it is one of Carolina's top, bright young forwards is just going overboard to me.

Markstrom would demand a lot, don't get me wrong, but Necas wouldn't be involved.

ha the canes arent moving necas.just give the flames a 1st for Marky and Conroy will ask him to waive.
