Bert is definitely worth a 2nd half retained. You have to remember that Bert gets virtually no PP time here. He got a fair bit of goals on PP on other teams. Big reason for his drop in production

This is honestly the smartest thing to do given how the Leafs season is going. I don't care who we sell those pending UFA's to, just get some decent prospects/draft picks to re-stock the farm system. Take the extra cap space we have in the off-season and build a defense core that is worth something. Hell, while you're at it, fire Keefe and hire Berube to make this team learn some god damn accountability.

Tre was tearing up last time when Gio was claimed in the expansion draft. I doubt he's going to trade the guy.

I want Keefe gone as well. The bottom six average a goal every 8.8 games. Rielly 7th and McCabe is around 65th in league scoring for d-men, the rest of the guys are at least 115th and lower. IF the core 5 aren't carrying the team they can't win a game little lone a series.

There’s nothing wrong with that you want Keefe gone and so do I that’s the one sure fire way to get it done what is so wrong with that I think it’d be a massive mistake this year to spend the first this team isn’t winning anything this year and spending at all makes no sense
