I think McLeod who's cost controlled for 2 years+RFA will be the last guy the oilers move out.

Its probably unlikely and I know they like him, but you have to give to get. Just playing around really, waiting for some real dominos to fall.

he made a good point but you also have a case. it is often in these types of deals you have a player like mcleod going the other way. i think what makes this even more possible is that the oilers are under heavy pressure to round out into a legitimate cup threat come playoff time and jake guentzel certainly does wonders for that offensive unit. if dubas demands mcleod as the last piece in the trade assuming the other pieces are as expected, i honestly feel like edmonton would pull the trigger.

Tomasino was a 1st Rd pick and still has a ton of upside. He's obviously not for sale so it would take a similar prospect who might be looking for a change of scenery or at least a first and another pick to get the conversation started
