Devils pass on Hanifan. Would be too expensive and too long term on next contract. That price makes no sense for a rental otherwise.

Devils reportedly value Bahl as much as Holtz. Zero shot they trade him for Hanifin if true

Wow, some people are really overrating Lundell IMO. I wouldn't trade Sharangovich for Lundell.

Lundell has been very up and down defensively this season. He had a terrible start, but he has been better as of late. He's only 21, I'll give you that, but he isn't even a surefire 2C at this point.

Can FLA afford to extend Hanifin though with Reinhart, Montour and Forsling needing new contracts and I’m assuming those come with decent raises as well!?

Not too sure if that’s really true or not, but with Hanifin, Hughes & Siegenthaler would they really need to keep Bahl!? I’d say Holtz is substantially more valuable to them

I think the Flames should look into a Luostarinen trade, which would be cheaper, before Lundell.

Flames need a true centre though. If we could snag him for picks, that’d be better, but given FLA’s heading for the playoffs, I assume they’d prefer an upgrade to their lineup

Maybe they take picks from us and make another trade for a replacement centre from another team!?

Lundell seems like a Young Backlund/Lindholm type player to me. He’s been trending downward since his rookie season, but like you said, he’s young and I think there’s another level to his game yet

Maybe, he is the better skater between the two as well, but they just re-signed him to $3mil x 3 more seasons starting next season

Lundell struggled adjusting to C this year, but he's getting better. Luostarinen played some C before as well.

I know Conroy said that he might be looking for a younger C that's stuck in a reduced role. The only ones I can think of are R. Greig, J. Drury, and M. Geekie. With an outside chance of a bigger trade involving Kotkaniemi. For the most part, I expect one of Pospisil and Zary to end up at center next year.

Doubt Greig or Pinto would be made available, don’t want Drury or Geekie and definitely don’t want Kotkaniemi

I’d like to see Zary & Pospisil get a try at Centre as well. Sharangovich isn’t much of a Centre imo

I like Sharangovich at C, minus the face-offs. The goal scoring dried up a bit too with the increased defensive responsibility.

Could dangle Coronato for a Centre instead, but not sure too many Flames Fans would like that idea

Lundell is the Panthers future 2C whenever Bennett leaves. I don’t see him being traded.
