I guess my first question is, with Arvidsson days away from coming back where do we get the cap space for his 4.2m? sending down all the scratches and sending down JAD or Laf still doesn't create enough cap space to bring back Arvy.

second question, why would we trade a better stay at home defensemen in Roy for a worse stay at home defensemen in Johnson? They have tried Clarke with Gavy and it doesn't work.

Third question, why would anyone pay that much for Saros? Yes he is a good goaltender but he's on his second to last yr of his contract and has been struggling. Plus I don't think a goaltender has EVER been traded for that quantity and quality of assets.

Kaliyev is more of what nashville already has
Spence is nice though and so are the picks. Would rather have turcotte over Kaliyev and clarke over spence but that isnt happening

The Sabres don't need lizotte, and they are gonna miss the playoffs by 25 points, so they wouldn't be paying a 2nd for Roy. What's the idea here, that Buffalo would throw a 2nd out for Roy in the hopes they can sell him on resigning? Cuz nothing else makes sense
