Is Beecher much compensation? This is an honest question, his numbers didn't improve when he was in college, his AHL numbers are unimpressive, Looking at his NHL numbers, I like that he's already a regular PKer and his GA @ ES looks decent compared to teammates, he appears to be moderately physical and based on GV numbers, he doesn't seem to make a lot of mistakes. But is there any offense there? As it stands he doesn't look any better than other guys in our system like Pospisil, Duehr, Klapka, or Schwindt.

Lysell isn't very interesting to Calgary. Hanifin costs more like Poitra or Lohrei + something better than Beecher and a 2026 2nd.

Hanifin is worth more, especially after what Conroy pulled out of his hat with the Lindy trade. I’d expect at least Lohrei coming back.

That’s like me saying Coronato isn’t very interesting. With the way Lysell is playing now, he is an interesting prospect for any team in the league. Talent wise, there two guys are on the same plane. Coronato is more aggressive getting to his shot (his shot %’s are a little surprising with his talent), while Lysell is much more adept at setting up his teammates.

If I had my choice, I’d give up the 25 first over Lysell every time, so it shouldn’t matter. Any deal around Hanifin is going to center around Lohrei if it happens

If you ask for Lohrei and a first, I probably ask for Hunter to balance out the deal.
