There's nothing there that catches Winnipeg's interest.

I like Lindgren but that's just too much value. That pick is currently 10th OA.

MN has Brodin, Middleton, and then a whole backlog of LD that will get looks over the next 2-3 years. It isn't a need to address now.

You really think subtracting Ehlers and adding those NYR assets are gonna get WPG the Cup?

The only deal that has a remote chance at being accepted is the Ottawa deal.

Ottawa isn't accepting that trade though.

There is an analytics account called Andy & Rono who were mad that Ehlers was demoted to the 4th line for one period that they said a smart GM would do a sign-and-trade for him in the offseason. The rationale was that Winnipeg doesn't deserve him.

I think both teams have reason to decline.

Also if Chychrun was willing to sign that contract he'd be staying in Ottawa.

Oh, well it is true that Winnipeg doesn't deserve Ehlers.

Such moronic coaches and some dumb **** fans in our fanbase, not saying Ehlers is perfect but he seems to be the scapegoat way more then others on this team which is total bull****.

Yeah no way he says for $6.75M AAV. McDonagh only signed his deal because it was in a tax advantageous state otherwise he would have signed for more.

I don't know what Ehlers did to have himself demoted at around the 6-minute mark of the 3rd period this time. If it was a defensive lapse and if the punishment for those lapses were applied equitably across the team, then Connor would be a mainstay on the 4th.

Edit: whatever it was happened on his 2nd shift of the 3rd period according to the shift charts.

Well I just watched the 1st period and I thought Ehlers was one of the best Jets in period one so must've been something that happened early in period two that got him demoted.

I thought Connor looked flat in period one other then one good shot he took. I question if it can work with all of Connor, Ehlers and Perfetti in the top six... 🤔

That goal bounced off Barron and was his first point in 13 games, geez the entire team has struggled to produce.
