I don't see AZ wanting to move Durzi but Dumba or Stecher(due to be back from IR before the TDL) would both be good RHD depth guys that can fit into any system. Both are on expiring deals. Aquisition would be cheaper as well. Probably could just ship Broberg straight up for either, if Cici needs to be a dump he could be added into the deal as well, might even get a 4th back for him to make it easier for the fans to swallow.

Does Dumba suck? I saw a report the Sens are looking at him but his metrics have been awful for years

Dumba is Dumba, gets caught behind his man from time to time but can score from the blueline, but EVERYONE on the opposing team keeps an eye on him when he is on the ice. Dumba can and will layout a player with a massive hit virtually every game. More of a disrupter.

Yes. He is a thumper, and he can skate. GM's are definitely going to kick the tires.

I've said in a couple AGM's if you're picking him up expecting him to be a top pair defenseman, you're going to hate him. But he's big and can skate. He uses his size, and he can carry the puck. Someone will pick him up for depth relatively cheaply and be very happy as long as they don't expect the All-Star Matt Dumba. He makes his fair share of stupid decisions, and he's not generating enough offense to overlook it. He is also playing too many minutes on a thin AZ team, but he is definitely an NHL defenseman.

Price is fine for Batherson but Sens aren’t in a position to sell players for futures, outside of UFAs and maybe Chychrun
