Doubt if Jets are Brodie's trade list. Leafs don't want 5.9m Schmidt next season.
Hardly cap friendly next season with Matthews and Nylanders raises...plus Necas, plus Liljegren and Benoit and not one big expiring contra ct.

Fortunately for Winnipeg Brodie doesn't waive and the Jets wouldn't pay to downgrade Schmidt to Brodie to help Toronto out.
