Also I based the trade of the Muzzin package. Toronto gave up 2019 1st, Durzi and Grundstrom. In this deal we gave up Niemela, and Steeves are equal to Grundstrom and Durzi and I even gave up an extra 3rd with no retention. I gave back Brodie but it’s a 1yr deal to even out the salary kinda like how they took back Kuzmenko from Van.

That offer probably gets Tanev. It wouldn't get Andersson, Weegar or Hanifin.

Hanafin will pull a lesser packaged. M-NTC and teams won’t give up a ton without commitment. Can’t compare to the Lindholm package as that came with an extension.

Niemela is 21, won best dman at wjc and is top 20 for defenceman scoring for the AHL. That’s a great prospect in return.
