Based on these hypothetical trades, I don't see the Leafs as a Cup team.

    it is not:
Boston, Tampa, Florida, Carolina, NYR all still significantly ahead of toronto in the east.

As a Sabres fan, I'd miss Greenway but I really like Nick Robertson, deal

A 2026 3rd and AHLer gets beat by other teams

    Anaheim declines

Lybushkin and dumba arnt upgrades and are are more than bad enough defensively to make up for what tanev brings.
The forwards are a bit better, but not enough to move the needle.
    So no, they are not

Lybushkin was literally a throw in on a cap dump trade when he was significantly better and cheaper, but sure thing

We need big defensively strong forwards a lot more than additional sub-6’ skill forwards

Why? Robertson has been nothing but a disappointment, and now a team that struggles to find cap space wants to move him?

Nah, we need Greenway more, we don't need undersized forwards at all. I understand that Greenway is a guy playoff teams would target, but we need bigger, defensively responsible forwards far more than any picks or grab bag players that teams are gonna offer.
