No it's not. But replace Savoie with Mittlestadt and it gets you Hanifin with an extension... If Hanifin agrees to extend for them.

I think at this point I would move Samuelsson over johnson, but I don't think I would move either for Sturm, and I do think we need a legit two way center in the middle 6. If andersson isn't happening I'd move on, not interested with a Hanifin bait and switch.

Of all of the Sabres there are very few that actually chose to play for them.
Ryan Johnson was one month away from being a UFA, he decided to sign with Buffalo.
It would send a truly horrible signal to the every player in the league if he was traded part way through his first season for a 4th line center who has 3 goals.
In addition to being terrible PR, of ALL Sabre defensemen Ryan has the lowest 5 on 5 xGA at 2.37 goals/60.
