Do something??? Leafs fans never seem to be happy.
One brutal trade with CBJ....just to obtain 8.5m in mediocrity.
Kampf...has M NTC, so it's not like "any team"

That Carrier offer will get beat by someone, although I'm a fan of Alex Steeves.

Provorov and Jenner are key pieces in Columbus, so you're not getting them without a blue chip prospect going back, and none of these are.

Kampf, while certainly being overpaid relative to his production, is most certainly not a cap dump. In that case, a lot of NHL bottom 6 forwards are cap dumps.

Don't let people on this site convince you it would cost draft picks to move any of your bottom 6 players...

He's right on that razor's edge of "cap dump", where no one is paying anything for him but you might find someone who would take him if you pay them a 6th or 7th. He's not getting claimed if he were to get waived, that's for sure. I'd argue he's technically a cap dump if you're paying anything to move him (which you would, but again, not much), and he very likely doesn't slot into the receiving team's lineup (which he doesn't).

He's replacement level, any number of cheaper players do what he does just as well. If he won slightly fewer faceoffs or had a slightly worse takeaway-to-giveaway ratio, or if he had similar numbers and got deployed in the offensive zone less than the already-low 26% of the time, he'd unquestionably be a cap dump.

Jenner isn't available, according to Davidson, ownership, Jenner, and the whole organization.
