I think people need to realize how well the King's goaltending tandem has played, in fact both Rittich and Talbot have been much better than Saros (one of his career-worst years) this season.

The Kings need to see more from their goalscorers like Kempe and Arvidsson (who has been sidelined up until 3 games ago). I think the Kings biggest area of weakness isn't goaltending anymore it's probably a 3LD or another defense-oriented/shutdown bottom 6 player (which Lizotte will can assist on when he returns from LTIR).

I hear you. But what about the value? Would be interesting to hear your opinions solely on that.

If LA needs to buy a goaltender, Blake has burned a lot and is already on thin ice after PLD and firing his head coach who the team is paying. The King need to find an improvement over Rittich (0.919 SV% / 2.25GAA) or Talbot (0.911 SV% / 2.58GAA) who collectively cost less than $2M against the Cap. If they moved one, I think they would move Talbot for Saros 50% retained, the problem is the Kings will likely not move any of their big contracts as they need those players for the deadline. So I would offer 1st, Grundstrom, Spence for Saros 50% retained. And if that's not enough, that's ok, because the Kings aren't desperate at net like other teams. The biggest problem is, Saros doesn't look good, so I'd rather keep rolling with the Kings tandem as it is.

As my three esteemed friends who have already made an appearance in this thread say, the SoCal teams decline their respective offers without a qualm. Adrian Kempe is worth more to Los Angeles than Saros (vide yesterday), and Trevor Zegras isn't on the market at his lowest point and would return more than that package if he were.

I don't see the "problem" in expecting him to exceed 70 points next season. Kemell even making the main roster in 2024-2025 is your problem.

I'd happily have that problem over a defensive black hole that was scoring at like 20 point pace this year lmfao. Nash will take our chances with another possible top 16 pick.

"20 point pace this year lmfao" shows how little you understand about hockey.

Schenn is a boat anchor contract that will need a buyout. Might as well keep on the roster as a 7D to get to cap floor.
