Don't see a reason why Buffalo does that

I can’t picture the wild doing this. They are signing marat end of the month so they’ll have rossi/ek/marat for centers with a capable hartman at need. So center depth won’t really be an issue. Having young shooters, just like beckman come up and replace the zucc/Johansson players wil be more important for them the next 2 years.
