I like the Lybushkin pickup, Mantha could be interesting too but I doubt they'll trade Appleton even if they should, this organization loves committed plugs!

Good gawd what does an Appleton legacy contract look like?!...
😳... 🤢

There's a lot going on in that Philly trade, hard to put a judgment on it... 🤔

Dont know about the PHI deal, the picks are Perfetti seem a start but:

Heinola and his 35 nhl games (none this yr) in 5 pro seasons probably isnt worth a lot and Danil and his 7 pts in 44 AHL games (and a -19) doesn't look great either, add that Schmidt is a cap[ dump and would still eat 4mil for the next 2 yrs and that doesn;t make it such a great package for PHI.

And I dont really think PHI is looking to move Koneckny unless they get wow'ed with a huge package, and thats not it.

TK just got given an "A" so the chances of him getting moved is almost zero. If they could extend TK rn we would but his window for an extension doesn't open until the summer.

Take off your goggles. If TK was available the Jets would 100% trade Perfetti. Its the Flyers that would laugh at that offer. Geez

Jets aren't trading 10 plus years of perfetti for 1.5 years of Konecny then he leaves. Trash asset management

Clearly your a Jets fan who is not looking objectively at this. Perfetti is a decent player but if he reaches his absolute full potential, he’s still not as good as TK and the Jets are in win now mode. Not to mention when TK’s contract is up, the Jets have a lot of money coming off the books and can resign him.

Jets may have the money but it's 100% up to Konecny signing here as a ufa to be. Perfetti has rfa rights and could be a great 60-80 point player. Having more rfa rights is more important than a rental in Konecny take of your goggles lil bro

You are really overvaluing Perfetti. Especially for a team that wants to win now. And what makes you think Perfetti will sign a team friendly contract? Just because he has some rfa years doesn’t mean he is going to be underpaid.

Jets are poor at attracting fa so trading a potential ppg player in the future playing nhl rn at 22 is more important than getting a winger that leaves in 2025. Perfetti could be a life long jet bro more value perfetti brings over that time than Konecny in 1.5 years that simple. Not saying that Konecny wouldn't be amazing just not at the expense of a current and future top six option player
