I'd think it'd be similar to the Red Wings Sens trade last year but probably less return.

Not a lot, he's shooting at 20% and has a career average of 13. He's going to come straight back down to earth the second he leaves Vancouver. You're better off keeping him

Not much. In this scenario, Boeser would be a cap dump. It’s unlikely someone pays a premium if the circumstance above holds true. Think like Bjorkstrand to Seattle type of trade. Columbus gave Laine a big money extension (in this case signing Reinhart) and they had to move Bjorkstrand (Boeser here) for pennies on the dollar.

Might be able to get a little more than Bjorkstrand, but it likely isn’t going to be involving items like top prospects or 1st round picks.

You couldn’t be any more incorrect with that take. Bjorkstrand has only eclipsed 50 points 1 time in his career he’s probably a 3rd liner on any contending team where as Boeser is currently a point per game and on pace for a 40 goal season. I can’t imagine Van having any interest in moving Boeser, if they wanted to make room for Reinhart or someone like him they’d move Garland.

Minnesota is once again a no. We have no cap space this year or next year and need to fill several roster spots this offseason. Even after the buyouts drop from $14.74 million to $1.67 million, we won't have a ton of room to work with considering the contracts we'll have to shell out for Faber and Rossi on new contracts and Kaprizov on an extension (assuming he wants to stay).

I love Brock Boeser, but Isles desparately need a LW more than a RW.
