Agreed with pretty much everything with a few exceptions :
- Batherson is in between "not available" and "only at the right price" for me. You only trade him if a team overpays and it ends up making your team better, but with his low AAV, this isn't likely to happen
- Kastelic is not untouchable or anything but I don't see the point in trading him. He's young, cheap, versatile, big, physical, elite on faceoffs and has a bit of a scoring touch even if his offense is not really there this season. Wouldn't return more than a 5th-7th pick, I'd just keep him
- a bit the same story for JBD, young cheap and can still improve, he has shown some good things this season
- Jarventie should be kept unless he can be used to do something important
- Kelly has been great since the coaching change, another guy I'd look to keep if he can be signed under 1.0
- Brannstrom "only at the right price" for me, leads the Sens at ES in CF%, SF% and xGF%, CA/60, GA/60 the last 2 seasons combined. Second to Zub in SA/60 and xGA/60. That guy is still underrated because he is a bit buried in Ottawa (and well all kind of bias reasons too)

Problem is with the lists:
Available at the right price, value has dropped or will continue to drop (Norris and Chabot at 8mil = you're probably not getting equal value back, (Look at provorov example) Chychrun's value is probably not his ARZ value, close though
And the available list is a bunch of guys who have little value (for example, Kubalik at 2.5mil for a non-producing guy, JBD was on waivers and went unclaimed)
That's why it makes more sense to trade Chychrun. Chabot is the better player but Chychrun is more attractive due to age and contract. Some team could possibly sign him around 7.0 AAV long term.
Agreed on Kubalik, the guy killed his value this season. JBD built a bit of value this season though, probably around 3rd round pick but don't see the point to not keep him
Hamonic and Kubalik are the 2 obvious guys who need to go first.

What kind of value do you think Giroux has at 50% retention?
Not available at all and himself probably won't want to move from home.
Sens are finally in a position to get out of their rebuild (something I have said wouldn't happen sine 2020-21, with Dorion and DJ Smith)
They absolutely need Giroux, and would need more vets like this actually. Another forward and a D-man
